This is a shower cake I did for my friend Sara. She's into birds, so I put wee tiny baby birds in a nest on the top.

This cake was for my friend Brian's 40th birthday. It's inspired by a Debbie Brown cake. I think he really liked it.

This is a sweet 16 cake for a CSI Las Vegas fan. This was a really fun cake to do. Notice the blood splatters.

You Oughta Be In Pictures!

This is a 70th birthday cake. I decided to get fancy and use a new product that puts photo images on an edible and flexible material. I used a company called GoGo Cake Edible Designs and they are not only wonderful to work with, but they produce a quality product. They made me wee tiny pictures that I attached to the fondant to make a filmstrip of the birthday girl's life. Very cool. The cake itself is a chocolate explosion of chocolate cake filled with chocolate genache and iced (under the fondant) with a light chocolate French buttercream.

Stack O' Presents

The is a hybrid birthday/Easter cake for my bud Louie. Those are all individual cakes stacked around a cake core and they're a mix of chocolate and butter cakes with vanilla buttercream.

Shower me, baby!

This was a baby shower cake. The cakes were a combo of chocolate with vanilla buttercream filling and white with lemon buttercream filling.
