Awww.....look at the behbeh
It feels like a loooong time since I've done a cake so here to quench my cake thirst, is a baby shower cake from Saturday. It was HEAVY, like seriously, it was probably like 20 lbs and 18" high. It was a delicious butter cake with strawberry buttercream filling. I was happy with the outcome. It was cute without being cutesy and the pink color was perfect. Not too Barbie but not too pale. I was worried the sleeping behbeh would take a tumble but she stayed put.
Next weekend is another Epic Cake Weekend. I have a ginormous birthday cake, a mini version of the same cake and a pretty sizable baby shower cake, all for Sunday. Yikes. Stay tuned.

Welcome to The Atomic Cake Co. We're Amy & Jeff and we make cakes. Well, not just cakes. We make wacky cakes, cakes that look like things that aren't cake, cakes that look like other foods, beautiful, elegant cakes, etc. and they are all delicious to boot.
