You Oughta Be In Pictures!

This is a 70th birthday cake. I decided to get fancy and use a new product that puts photo images on an edible and flexible material. I used a company called GoGo Cake Edible Designs and they are not only wonderful to work with, but they produce a quality product. They made me wee tiny pictures that I attached to the fondant to make a filmstrip of the birthday girl's life. Very cool. The cake itself is a chocolate explosion of chocolate cake filled with chocolate genache and iced (under the fondant) with a light chocolate French buttercream.
